Spyker whisked the covers off a new special-edition, Le Mans-inspired model at the LA Auto Show. The striking orange colour of the C8 Laviolette LM85 is designed to ape the livery of the firm’s GT2 Le Mans cars. The LM85 nameplate refers to the race car’s starting numbers.OK, it's got a special paint job, but what else?Underneath the novel paint, this car is all about aluminium.
A Lamborghini source has apparently revealed that the Italian supercar firm’s replacement for the Gallardo – due next in 2014 – will be called the Huracan. The insider let slip to Auto Express that the new V10-powered supercar will be called Huracan, which is Spanish for hurricane. This is in contrast to earlier reports that suggested the Gallardo replacement would be called the Cabrera.
Forget the 208 GTi: the Peugeot RCZ R is the Peugeot’s new performance flagship. The range-topping RCZ boasts a record-breaking 270bhp, and will hit 62mph in under 6sec. Peugeot expect UK models to cost over £30,000 when the RCZ R goes on sale here in the first quarter of 2014.
